No more Do Not Miss? What’s happening?!

If you are reading these lines, chances are you may have noticed that there has been a complete lack of activity in the site for the past 6 months.

I have received quite a few messages asking about this and I believe it was about time we talked about it.

This past 6 months have been a time for much reflection on my part. Last year I began a new job that has proven to be extremely time demanding. Honestly, I struggled very much to keep up with the website. And that, despite devoting only time to the Do Not Miss section in the past years!

I have been debating whether or not to continue with the website. I re-discovered instagram (oh no!), and returned to podcasting with The Big 3, now on Twitch.

I was a bit sucked into these contemporary social networks, and only posted miniature-related stuff on them. The funny thing is that I have painted new things in this period, and even won a Golden Demon along the way, and there’s no proof of any of that in this site. It’s outrageous and totally unacceptable!

I know that not very long from now, there will come a time when I will be able to dedicate as much time as I want to the site and the creative side of things, but now it is not that time. Is the prospect of future good tidings enough to keep me working on the site on a best-effort basis? Even considering the money (and time) that it costs to maintain it?

Well, after giving it much thought, I have decided to CARRY ON!

So even though I believe there will only be time for our regular Do Not Miss at the moment, that should be enough for now, until I reach that desired situation of freedom.

In the coming weeks, there will be a double-cadence of Do Not Miss per week, so that I make up for the first half of 2023. I am such a completist that I would not like to have such a gap in the Do Not Miss history…
