The first month has passed by like a breeze! It’s time for the classic report of the Warmasters. Let’s see how they behaved in the year 40k!

Checkpoint 1

First of all, as usual, let’s first review the rules for the campaign:

At the beginning of each month, the Warmasters must report what was achieved up to that date (optionally with photos and/or a short description of what was achieved, or any other material of their choosing).

  • Checkpoint 1 (April 2018)
  • Checkpoint 2 (May 2018)
  • Checkpoint 3 (June 2018)
  • Checkpoint 4 (July 2018)
  • Checkpoint 5 (August 2018)
  • Checkpoint 6 (September 2018)

In Checkpoint 3 each Warmaster must show that they have painted at least 500 points. Those who failed in this task at the 3 month checkpoint will be eliminated from the challenge.
In Checkpoint 6 each participant will have to demonstrate the painting of a complete list of 1,000 points. Only those who made it to the end of the campaign will be submitted to the ruling of the audience who will determine which Warmaster did the best job, taking into consideration all aspects of their progress (overall work, quality of painting, monthly material shared, storyline…)

So this means it’s time to review, with no pressure for now, what the Warmasters have been up to this month. In the next few days we will also share all the material they have prepared for us about their campaign. In the meantime, let’s quickly review how each of them is performing.

Imperium

These are the Warmasters defending the Imperium:

Out of these guys, only Armando and Phobos are actually keeping up with the required progress. The little number of miniatures that Armando needs to paint certainly helps to this mission! The rest of the Warmasters are reporting quite a disappointing progress so far: only Volomir, Winter and Javi, seem to be making some progress, even if they did not get to the required minimum.

Some of the Warmasters are reporting zero progress, but we know for a fact that some have been working their way into their armies already. Maybe we need to wait until they present the material they want to share with us and judge afterwards…

Enemies of the Imperium

These are the bad guys:

Mariano/Gryndal and Mitico are reporting very good progress. On the other side, the rest are reporting no progress. There are people like Mr.X and Berek in this group, not famous for being up to date in these campaigns… what would you expect? Piti and Troncho are the new guys, but they are taking the same route as it seems…

Overall Ranking

So this is how the overall ranking looks like:

Kudos to Armando, Mariano/Gryndal, Mitico and Phobos. And also compliments to Javi, Volomir and Winter, for their remarkable effort so far.

Time now to take a closer look at the projects of each Warmaster individually!

And also, let’s not forget about the allies of the Warmasters’ Crusade! Inspired by the projects of the Warmasters, new painters are joining in from all over the world, painting their own 40k armies with the same deadlines as the Warmasters…
