It’s good to look back sometimes and reflect on where we started. Today I bring back the piece I was talking about the other day, Rough Riders on Cold Ones, the one that started my journey on Golden Demon competitions. The text below is taken directly from the old blog, and it was written back in 2008.
This was my first entry in the Golden Demon Spain 2006, 40k Squad. I got my first Golden Demon, the bronze one. It’s made from Cadian plastic parts, an old version of Cold Ones, heads and pieces from the ForgeWorld range, Milliput and Green Stuff.
It was the first time I entered anything in a Golden Demon and I think it wasn’t bad for a start, I was very happy and proud. Now I see it and I’m stunned because it’s really badly painted for me now, but anyway, I put a lot of work, time and hope into it and it turned out just fine.
The squad wouldn’t have been posible without the help from Banshee (Alfonso Giraldes), Morsa (Elías Alonso)and also Adrián Prado (the freehand of the eagle in the banner is his, astonishing).
